Claire Goldhagen

My name is Claire Goldhagen, and I’m a native Floridian, born and raised in Miami, Florida. After graduating from Miami High School, I attended the University of Wisconsin (Madison) and received a BA in International Studies and Foreign Affairs.

Upon returning to Miami, I began my career in retail with Burdines Department Store and later moved to Ft. Myers in 1985 for an Executive Position for Robb & Stucky Furniture & Design Company.

I’ve had a wonderful retail career specializing in all facets of home interiors. I probably got the “housing bug” and love of homes from my Father who was a home builder. Having the experience of a Buyer for accessories, rugs, pictures/mirrors, gourmet kitchen, upholstered furniture for a large retail chain gave me an opportunity to join Robb & Stucky as an Upholstery Merchandising Manager for 25 years.

During that time and currently, I’ve been involved in real estate both in Florida and North Carolina. In North Carolina, I was able to help develop a thirty-acre property. This involved the infrastructure of roads, utilities, and overseeing the project. In addition, the building and selling of the initial houses. Being a Floridian, I’m savvy to our hurricane challenges and am aware of the needs of property owners. Having experience in renovations and dealing with tradesmen has further helped my ability to serve a buyer or seller of property. Knowing that a home is usually the largest financial purchase made for a family, I feel my background, ability to communicate honestly, attention to detail and my natural enthusiasm…… all contribute to assuring a positive and satisfying experience for your property goals.

When I’m not working, my favorite activities are traveling, enjoying cultural activities, cooking, reading, and artistic projects.
