Mike Doto grew up in the Valley Forge area of Pennsylvania and then spent 26 years in State College Pennsylvania where his two daughters were born and raised. He moved to Florida in January of 1997.

Mike has two beautiful grandchildren, loves the Florida lifestyle, plays golf, Rides a Harley, loves the beaches and the Florida sunshine.

Professionally, over the past 25 years Mike was in the Direct Mail and Printing business having had his own company in State College and then working as a Senior level manager for the largest Direct Mail and Printing company in Southwest Florida after arriving here. He obtained his MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) along the way and became an IT manager.

Always the entrepreneur Mike, his former wife and another couple started buying, renovating and flipping houses in 2004-2005 when the market was hot. He obtained his Real Estate license in 2005 to better the buying and selling process. Since then he has approximately $6 million in sales and 36 properties sold.

In 2010 Mike decided to do Real Estate full time. He quit his IT Manager position and set a new course. He has not looked back. After trying several Agencies over the years (since 2005) he chose the VIP Realty Group in Fort Myers. He feels at home with the VIP Realty system, the people, professionalism and integrity of the organization.

Mike has always believed in giving back to the community. He is past Chairman of the Board for the Lee County Unit of the American Cancer Society and has served on both the Pennsylvania and Florida Boards for over 20 years. In addition, for his volunteer work for the Red Cross, Mike received the National Presidential Award for Volunteerism in 2010.

Mike has strong work ethics, dedicated to meeting his client’s needs and has a “Get the job done” attitude. His approach to his clients has always been: “How can I Help You”.
