Sherrill Sims, a full-time residence of Captiva since 1983, has been a part of The Bell Team for over 15 years. She and partner, John Bates, joined Karen Bell as original members offering "team within a team" approach. Together, Sherrill and John provide outstanding service built on a great deal of experience, island knowledge and a seamless partnership in which you'll have access to each of their areas of expertise. Sherrill, who earned her Realtor's license in 1968 and is a graduate of the Realtors Institute, has a deep appreciation for community service. She's held a variety of leadership positions both within the industry and specific to the Islands. These include serving on the Captiva Hurricane Response and Preparation Committee, as Commissioner for the Captiva Erosion Prevention District working to restore beaches, as a Structural Safety Inspector with the Lee County Sheriff's Department and the Captiva Island Fire District and is currently a Commissioner on the Captiva Island Fire Control District. Highly-respected throughout the islands, Sherrill is repeatedly praised for instilling client confidence throughout every aspect of the sale through closing.
