Claude is a native Floridian. He grew up in Gainesville, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida.

He, along with his wife and 3 girls, moved to Fort Myers in 1969.

He went into real estate in 1974 and opened Claude Allen Realty in 1976. He remained in business until 2006 when he closed his office and merged with Harvey & Associates.

During his 37 years in real estate in Fort Myers, Claude has specialized in listing and selling riverfront properties as well as the historic river district located between McGregor Blvd. and the river.
